Job Title:

Responsibilities:

Plan, design and administer engineering and building projects from inception to completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist.
Minimum 2 years’ verifiable post-registration experience in the planning, design and contract administration of building and engineering projects from inception to completion.
Strong background in the design of the following will be advantageous:
- Bulk water reservoirs.
- Water treatment works.
- Stormwater management infrastructure.
- Water-retaining structures.
- Reinforced concrete-framed structures.
- Steel-framed structures.
Experience managing design teams to complete tasks and deliver high-quality outputs, including design calculations, drawings, schedules and reports, within required timeframes and budgets.
Strong understanding of engineering design codes and technical standards.
Proficiency in MasterSeries or Prokon, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Experience using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
