Job Title:
Plant Manager HME

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee and manage heavy mining equipment (HME) operations on a drilling site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, performance, and reliability of all drilling-related equipment, while upholding safety and operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience in contract mining
• Proven experience in a Plant Manager role
• Strong expertise in the maintenance of drilling heavy mining equipment
• Solid understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and asset management

Area/Travel: 

• Based in Namibia
• Site located between Omaruru and Uis in the north-west region

Qualification/ Skills: 

• Mechanical qualification (Degree, Diploma, or Trade Certificate)
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance systems
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
