• Responsible for the financial accounting of projects in alignment with financial strategies and plans, supporting projects from execution through to completion.
• Ensure accurate accounting of project finances in line with relevant policies and procedures.
• Prepare project reporting, management accounts, annual financial statement consolidations, and capital management reports.
• Prepare and manage monthly and annual cash flow reports.
• Oversee financial and related administrative functions through accurate financial data capturing and support to the project team with financial planning.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting by maintaining financial models and preparing short-, medium-, and long-term budget reports.
• Assist project teams in adhering to approved package budgets and prepare monthly forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with governance, auditing, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure all statutory reporting is completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) South Africa or CIMA qualification will be advantageous.
• 5–8 years’ experience in finance, with at least 2 years gained within a project or mining environment.
• Experience working with SAP systems.
