Job Title:
Mechatronics Engineer
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a professional to design, develop, and maintain integrated systems that combine mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to enhance automation, improve efficiency, and optimise overall system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated systems and control solutions
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into cohesive systems
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
- Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning
- Maintain and optimise existing automation systems
- Analyse system performance and recommend improvements
- Support maintenance teams with fault finding and technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in automation or control systems.
- Experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- Knowledge of robotics, sensors, and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
