Intermediate Java Full Stack Developer

Job Purpose: 

Our client is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join their team in Pretoria.

The successful candidate will have a strong mix of frontend and backend development skills, along with experience working with databases and cloud services. A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is essential. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse projects within an Agile environment, with a strong focus on continuous learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, React, or Angular
  • Strong backend development experience with Java or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Experience with cloud services
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (advantageous)
  • Strong curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
