Essence of the job:
Reporting to the Exploration Manager, The Field Geologist will support the delivery of site-based exploration programs through high-quality field execution, geological data collection, logging, sampling and operational support to drilling and surface programs.
This is a hands-on, field-focused role, responsible for ensuring accurate data capture, safe field practices and timely technical inputs that support interpretation, targeting and advancement decisions.
The role is suited to a developing exploration geologist looking to build strong technical and operational capability in a remote, gold–copper exploration environment.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences.
Minimum Requirements:
5 to 10 years’ experience in mineral exploration geology, primarily in field-based roles.
Demonstrated experience supporting drilling programs and field campaigns.
Exposure to gold–copper exploration environments, including:
Porphyry and/or epithermal systems (preferred).
Core and/or RC logging and sampling.
Experience working in remote or developing jurisdictions is strongly preferred.
Willingness to work in a physically demanding, remote field environment.
