Job Title:
Supervisor Mechanical
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional to lead maintenance activities within a designated section, working through a team to ensure optimal availability, reliability, productivity, and safety of plant and equipment.

- Continuous improvement initiatives
- SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk & Quality) adherence and compliance
- Diagnostic capability and fault-finding
- Statutory compliance knowledge
- Management principles and practices
- Computer literacy, including:
- Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word)
- JD Edwards or equivalent ERP systems
- Dynamic Production Monitoring Systems
- Active Factory Tool
- Achiever, Isometrics, and QlikView
Qualifications and Experience:
- N3 National Certificate in Engineering Studies
- Trade Test Certificate in Engineering (Boilermaker, Fitter, or Electrician)
- Management or ARM Supervisory Certificate (or equivalent, NQF Level 4, 150 credits) – recommended
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in an operational mining or maintenance environment
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a team leadership, project leadership, or supervisory role
