Associate Business Intelligence

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking an Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to support the development, implementation, and optimisation of Asset Management Systems (AMS) in line with ISO 55000 and other relevant international standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve business systems, maintenance processes, materials management, ERP systems, and data management practices. This role is focused on driving process improvement, supporting strategic business objectives, and ensuring the successful adoption of asset management systems and best practices.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP systems in alignment with ISO 55000 standards.
  • Collaborate with the ERP Service Centre to manage site-specific ERP support requests.
  • Provide ad hoc ERP training to site teams on Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Supply Chain processes.
  • Support stock-taking activities across operational sites, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain ERP master data, including inventory, supplier information, MRP, equipment hierarchies, and maintenance plans.
  • Develop, implement, and improve business processes and procedures, including:
    • Change management
    • Maintenance planning
    • Work order management
    • Materials management
    • Risk management
  • Coordinate and analyse monthly Asset Management Scorecards across operational sites.
  • Develop and implement advanced reports to support data-driven decision-making using financial, technical, maintenance, and operational performance data.
  • Participate in site audits to ensure compliance with Operations & Maintenance and Supply Chain standards and procedures.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify current and future data requirements and translate these into technical specifications for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BTech or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience developing and implementing business systems and processes.
  • Experience with change management, risk management, and asset management processes.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and/or ERP systems to support business operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Power BI.
  • Valid Code 8 driver's licence or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning tools and software.
  • Experience in an industrial or power generation environment, particularly within the solar photovoltaic or wind energy sectors.
  • Experience with asset care planning, equipment hierarchy development, inventory management, material resource planning (MRP), and equipment identification and verification.
  • Knowledge of or experience working with ISO 55000 and/or PAS 55 asset management standards.
