Job Title:

Production Manager

Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily facility operations, staff and production planning. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards, controlling costs and ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched on time.

Responsibilities:

• Plan production schedules to meet customer orders and operational deadlines.
  Coordinate purchasing and receiving, checking incoming stock against quality requirements.
• Oversee processing, sorting and packing activities.
• Manage stock levels, maintain accurate records and oversee dispatch.
• Monitor production costs, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Investigate customer quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise production and cleaning teams, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and correctly.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Prepare daily operational reports and monitor performance against targets.

Qualifications & experience:

• Proven experience in production or facility management.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating daily operations.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, stock management and dispatch.
• Ability to monitor costs, minimise waste and resolve operational problems.
• Practical understanding of production equipment and safe operating procedures.
• Strong planning, communication and reporting skills
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
